5 Fall Shoes For The BEST Rotation

What’s up homies. I’m bringing y’all a different type of blog post this week. With fall coming up, I am sure everyone and their mother is prepping the wardrobe for the season change. I am beginning to piece outfits together and get some new pieces for the fall. One thing I have been focusing on right now is what shoes want to wear in the fall. Without further ado, here are 5 shoes that you need this fall (because I have them and I like them).

We will be starting off with some of my most recent fall shoe pickups. Before you say anything, yes I have an obsession with neutral colors. I have found it difficult to step out of my comfort zone and get some more colorful shoes as I am not sure how to style them. Gladly, I will take any recommendations and advice.

1. SAMBA XLG

Kicking off the list of fall shoes in my collection are the Adidas Samba XLG’s in this off-white and beige color way. These are my most recent pickups and I will be wearing them a lot this fall. The beefier sole makes them incredibly comfortable, and if you plan on walking outside a lot and enjoying the nice fall weather like me, these are a must-have in your collection of 2024 fall shoes.

A great thing about this color way in particular is that it can be paired with lots of fall outfit colors such as dark greens, browns, and darker reds. If this color way does not suit your style, the other options are great for your fall shoe collection as well as it comes in a variety of black, brown, green, and white combinations. Some people might be Samba’d out from their takeover in the early half of this year, but for those who aren’t, this is a great pickup for your collection.

2. NIKE DUNK LOW

Next up on the list of 5 shoes to be wearing this fall are these Nike Dunk Lows. I have been in love with these shoes and will be wearing them heavily. I wear lots of browns often and I am going to consistently pair these shoes with my brown pieces. The vintage/distressed look that they have makes them look and feel extra cozy. The exposed foam on the tongue adds a nice flair to it and these pair perfectly with a more casual fall outfit, like a cozy sweater and some jeans. This pair of shoes also has mesh siding that is very breathable, a big plus for those of you in areas where the heat still lasts through the fall to help keep the dogs cool. The suede on them also adds a nice cozy touch.

3. NIKE KILLSHOT 2 LEATHER

Next, we have my ol’ reliable, the Nike Killshot 2 Leather. I love this shoe with all my heart and cannot wait to pair it with some outfits. As you can see in the picture below, these shoes have been through it. That is because I bought them last fall and have loved them so much that I will continue to wear them throughout this fall. I love the look of these. These shoes are nothing crazy, just simple, raw elegance which is exactly why I think you should have these in your fall shoe collection.

The suede on this leather version adds a nice touch. They can be dressed up for a special occasion like Thanksgiving, or dressed down for a casual night out with your friends. And if you’re not messing with this colorway, they have others that will go great in the fall as well (including a full suede option for the suede lovers out there). This shoe is highly rated on the internet, and I would say I couldn’t agree more with how others feel about this shoe, it’s just great.

4. NB NUMERIC 306 JAMIE FOY

Here is a little bit of a style change: the New Balance Numeric Jamie Foy 306. I used to be big into long boarding back in my day, so I have an attachment to skate shoes. I picked up these because I feel like they make a good casual shoe to pair with some jeans and a hoodie or something more chill for the fall. This colorway that I have pairs great with fall colors, and I really like the splash of dark green on the logo. So far I have loved these shoes, and they are pretty comfy for a flatter shoe. I think these are a great shoe for fall and are a great pickup if you plan to wear lots of jeans, and of course, skate.

5. NIKE DUNK LOW RETRO

Lastly, definitely a very out-there option for me, and honestly doesn’t look too much like a fall shoe color but I have not found a great time to wear these yet, are these Nike Dunk Low Retro’s. As you can see, most shoes I have are very similar in color. This one is quite out there for me. I threw it on this list because I feel like it could be paired well with some black jeans and other cozy dark-colored fits. In all honesty, I have not worn these much, but I want to try to give them more reps this fall. I will gladly take any feedback on outfit ideas to pair this shoe up with this fall. I like the color way, just need to figure out how to capitalize it.
